Job Summary
Lead projects nationwide for Hooker DeJong, an architectural/engineering firm, from initiation to close-out. Responsibilities include developing project plans, monitoring progress, managing budgets and schedules, procuring consultants, serving as primary client liaison on budget/schedule/contract, coordinating client communications and documentation, and preparing proposals/contracts. Requires 10+ years of design experience, a U.S. licensure as Architect or Engineer, and proficiency with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD. Travel required; hybrid remote work option available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in architecture or engineering
- Licensed Architect or Engineer in the United States
- 10+ years in all phases of design from schematic design through close-out
- Thorough knowledge of construction codes and agency compliance
- Knowledge of architecture and engineering principles and practices
- Experience coordinating between architectural and engineering disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD a plus
- Excellent written, verbal & visual communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Self-motivated with ability to work productively in a hybrid remote work situation if desired
