Job Summary
Project Manager to oversee construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and contract requirements. Responsibilities include leading turnover from estimating/sales, developing value engineering and cost reductions, setting up job contracts, managing vendor/subcontractor procurement and change orders, tracking key dates, maintaining project files, and communicating with clients and internal teams. Requires expertise in procurement, scheduling, cost forecasting/estimating, and close-out processes, plus strong written and verbal communication, ability to manage relationships, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project. Travel to Harbor Fab shops in Winnsboro, TX, and Benton, AR, is expected; the role emphasizes hands-on project execution and client satisfaction. College degree in Construction Management/Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in Construction Management/Engineering or equivalent job experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project
- Understanding of steel and equipment manufacturing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively develop/manage internal and external relationships
- Travel: 10%
- Experience in procurement, scheduling, and cost forecasting/estimating
- Ability to read and understand drawings and contract documents
