Job Summary
Lead Project Manager for ground-up ICI construction projects in the Greater Toronto Area, overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, permits, and coordination among clients, consultants, subcontractors, site teams, and internal stakeholders from preconstruction through completion and handover.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management
- Proven experience managing ground-up ICI construction projects
- Experience with commercial, industrial, institutional, warehouse, manufacturing, or similar developments
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and cost control
- Ability to manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and client relationships effectively
- Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project documentation
- Experience coordinating with various project stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle
- Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, change management, and cost control
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
- A diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is considered an asset
