Job Summary
Manage project scheduling, estimating, and document control for self-perform teams and subcontractors in industrial and heavy commercial markets. Oversee project finances, including profit/loss management, cost control, and change order negotiations. Collaborate with clients, engineers, and trade subcontractors to ensure project success while developing budgets, establishing schedules, and managing submittals. Coordinate self-perform and subcontractor scopes with field supervision and maintain strong relationships with customers. Draft letters of intent, purchase orders, and master sub-agreements as needed. During construction, expedite materials, update schedules, and manage the RFI log. During closeout, compile documentation and ensure vendor compliance. Requires 9-12 years of experience, a bachelor's degree, and knowledge of Sage 300 or ProCore.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- 9-12 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience with a General Contracting/Construction Management organization
- Ability to estimate
- Ability to schedule
- Experience with self-performing general contractor
- Knowledge of Sage 300, ProCore, Prolog and/or Contract Manager
- Excellent communication, planning, organizational and supervisory skills
- Design/Build, General Contractor, Construction Management project delivery experience
- Strong communication, planning, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Commit to CCC's people-based safety culture and comply with the CCC corporate safety manual and leadership training requirements
- Adhere to all CCC standard operating procedures (ISO) for estimating, purchasing, and project control
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and the ability to follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment guidelines, and company policies
Desired Qualifications
- Desired candidate has some knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, technology, equipment, methods, accounting principles, and engineering principles/techniques
- Automotive project experience is preferred
- Maintenance contract experience is preferred
- Experience with self-performing general contractor is preferred
- Knowledge of Sage 300, ProCore, Prolog and/or Contract Manager is preferred
