Job Summary
Manage a phase of a larger project or multiple smaller projects to ensure profitable operations. Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to accomplish goals within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. Deliver excellent verbal and written communication while working independently and as part of a team to meet internal and external customer needs. Travel up to 25% as part of this role within Michels Construction, Inc., an industry leader in geotechnical and geostructural foundation systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or geotechnical engineering
- 5 or more years of post-college experience
- Experience in deep foundations, heavy civil, design build and/or geotechnical contracting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to anticipate and meet internal and external customer needs
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Travel up to 25%
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with scheduling, estimating and project controls software
- PMP Certification
- PE Certification
