Project Manager for North American Operations

Job Summary

Lead and manage all assigned operational projects from initiation through deployment, defining scope, objectives, and resource requirements while developing detailed plans for timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Drive project execution across engineering, production, supply chain, and quality assurance teams, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate change management, conduct impact analyses, and provide coaching on new processes. Prepare weekly status reports and comprehensive presentations for senior management on milestones, KPIs, and strategic recommendations. Monitor project health, assess risks, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in US
  • 5-7 years of project management experience in a corporate environment, managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies across various functions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, Trello) and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work independently or in conjunction with appropriate leaders and stakeholders, and with all associated departments involved in manufacturing and production
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with project managers and other stakeholders
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects involving facilities, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or business transformation initiatives
  • Strong project management skills including schedule development, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and executive reporting
  • Experience coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing governance structures, action plans, status reporting, and accountability mechanisms
  • Experience managing facility expansions, relocations, warehouse projects, manufacturing footprint changes, or real estate development initiatives
  • Familiarity with zoning, permitting, entitlements, site planning, environmental reviews, and municipal approval processes
  • Experience coordinating with legal teams regarding contracts, easements, title matters, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Understanding of site development activities including utilities, grading, infrastructure improvements, and civil engineering coordination
  • Experience supporting operational transitions, facility startups, or business continuity planning
  • Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, engineering or a comparable field of study

Desired Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
