Job Summary
Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring for the Harvesting the Future of Naturals initiative in India. Oversee partnerships with local implementing partners, processors, and suppliers while developing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation plan. Conduct field-level assessments, including worker profiling and grievance mechanism mapping, and facilitate supply chain mapping across various tiers. Manage coalition governance by organizing meetings, finalizing minutes, and coordinating with stakeholders. Deliver trainings on human rights due diligence, occupational safety, and gender equity to local suppliers. Plan and forecast expenditures to ensure budget compliance and provide financial reporting to the Finance team. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders in India, representing FLA at conferences and providing translation support where needed. This remote position requires up to 40% travel to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects on children's rights, human rights due diligence, responsible sourcing, living wage/living income, and occupational safety and health
- Background in project monitoring and evaluation
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office Suite
- Strong writing skills, including authoring reports
- Ability to analyze large amounts of information and data comfortably and accurately
- Strong commitment to the FLA mission of protecting workers' rights
- High-level oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters

- Remote position based in Coimbatore, India
- Up to 40% travel required to project areas in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka
