Job Summary
Coordinate and manage complex millwright projects from inception to conclusion by assembling multidisciplinary technical review teams and facilitating troubleshooting for system development and design issues. Chair pre-submittal meetings, establish liaisons with boards and commissions, and perform project design for civil engineering initiatives. Manage staff schedules and provide technical management advice to department leadership while responding to project inquiries. Assist in developing departmental plans, goals, and procedures. This role requires a safety-oriented candidate with a bachelor's degree and two years of project management experience to support Cherokee Millwright's full suite of machinery installation, alignment, and fabrication services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least two years of previous experience in project management
- Safety-orientated
- Comfortable working in diverse environments
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
