Job Summary
Project Manager for the Focus Factory leading a cross-functional Project Team to ensure successful planning and execution of Department of Defense projects. Oversees Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Coordinators; manages budgets and forecasts with earned value management; develops and maintains project schedules; reviews pricing, statements of work, drawings, and change orders; coordinates bid processes; ensures timely submittals of RFIs/CRs and contract deliverables; leads internal and external project meetings; acts as liaison among engineers, owners, field personnel, and stakeholders; maintains customer relationships to promote follow-on work; mentors team members; upholds safety programs and conducts safety inspections; requires strong communication, leadership, and technical aptitude; onsite at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia; DoD-focused, contract-based PM role with opportunity to leverage PMP and Primavera skills.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering, Construction Technology, or related discipline
- 7+ years of Project Management/Construction Management experience
- DoD or subcontractor experience highly preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Ability to acquire and maintain appropriate Government security clearance required
- Onsite requirement
- PMP certification preferred
- Familiarity with Oracle Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Dynamics, and Earned Value Management is a plus
