Job Summary
Lead project implementation from purchase order receipt through installation startup, including participating in kick-off calls, managing schedules and costs, and ensuring delivery of materials from internal and external groups. Conduct periodic site visits to review progress, participate in system commissioning and acceptance, and track project status with weekly reporting to customers and installers. Define initiatives to improve quality and productivity within the team while maintaining quality standards across all responsibilities. This role requires 5+ years of project management experience in automation or industrial equipment, proficiency with ERP and AutoCAD, and the ability to travel up to 30% nationally and internationally. Based in Downers Grove, Illinois, the position supports Integrated Solutions' mission to deliver results through a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years related Project Management experience in automation, conveyor systems or industrial equipment
- Proficiency with a variety of computer systems (ERP systems, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and project management software)
- Ability to make decisions and solve complex problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% both nationally and internationally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and reach with arms and hands
- Good visual acuity to see computer screens and read fine print on a variety of reports
