Job Summary
Plan, execute, and finalize complex engineering and construction projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders while developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Liaise with stakeholders on an ongoing basis, estimate resources, draft budget proposals, and manage project dependencies and critical paths. Track milestones, develop progress reports, conduct post mortems, and create recommendations to identify successful elements. Ensure adherence to FLSmidth's safety, quality, and environmental standards. Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the mining, cement, or heavy industrial sectors
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects from conception to completion
- PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Experience with financial management and budgeting for projects
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial projects
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred
