Job Summary
Project Manager to lead end-to-end mining service projects across North America, coordinating engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and operations to deliver equipment maintenance, upgrades, rebuilds, inspections, and aftermarket services on time, within budget, and to customer specifications. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and execution plans; managing scope changes and contractual compliance; facilitating regular reviews with customers; leading cross-functional teams across multiple locations/time zones; driving risk mitigation, cost control, and continuous improvement; and ensuring strong customer relationships and effective communication on milestones and deliverables. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering/administrative discipline and 5+ years of PM experience in mining/heavy industry; PMP is preferred; strong proficiency with PM methodologies, Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (Oracle or Dynamics 365)."
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- PMP certification preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience in mining, heavy industry, industrial equipment, manufacturing, aftermarket services, or similar environments
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations and time zones
- Experience with budgets, forecasts, cost performance metrics, and invoicing/revenue recognition processes
