Job Summary
Lead strategic and transformational projects in accordance with NPWI standards, owning delivery and being accountable to senior executives. Define project scope and roadmaps, develop user stories using agile principles, and manage external suppliers to ensure goals are met. Drive milestone awareness, organize sprints, and prepare progress reports while managing risks, issues, and stakeholder communications. Correct plan deviations and champion process improvements. Mentor junior managers and support sponsors in defining priorities and metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience of Banking, Investment and General Ledger platforms
- Previous project management of data, system migrations and upgrades
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to establish / maintain high levels of customer trust and confidence
- Excellent presentation skills and able to present and articulate project progress up to Board level
- Participation in Digital Transformation programmes in a Banking and Investment industry
- Experience in either a Business Analysis or Systems Analysis role
- Able to demonstrate a strong track record of success during challenging assignments
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Team, Microsoft Project and Visio
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience
- Agile experience
- Proven track record of successfully implementing software, IT and business projects
- Experience leading multi-function project teams
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
