Job Summary
The Contract Machining Manager will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and launching programs that meet customer objectives, managing sales accounts, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met. Essential functions include customer relationship management, project estimation, compliance with quality and safety regulations, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in Tool & Die manufacturing and/or machining experience
- Must possess proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format
Desired Qualifications
- Customer relations management experience
- Excellent working knowledge of machining processes
- In-depth understanding of tool and die manufacturing
- Knowledge of machining, tool & die, modeling, programming, die cast process
- Good understanding of similar industrial practices (electrical, plumbing, hydraulics)
- Understanding of Federal and State OSHA standards
- Strong organization, leadership, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer aptitude, including Microsoft Office applications
- Flexible individual – can adapt to constant change
