Job Summary
Assess losses, define project scopes, and prepare accurate estimates for property restoration projects from initial assessment to completion. Coordinate teams, subcontractors, and resources to maintain timelines, budgets, and quality standards while communicating updates with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers. Keep close oversight of schedules, documentation, and safety protocols to ensure projects finish safely, on time, and within budget. This role combines office organization with hands-on field leadership, requiring participation in a rotating on-call schedule and the ability to perform physical tasks such as material handling and working in tight spaces.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Supervisor or in a related restoration or construction role
- College diploma or an equivalent mix of education, professional training, and relevant experience
- Knowledge of restoration processes, building codes, and health and safety practices
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret scopes, plans, and estimates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mobile applications
- IICRC or equivalent certifications
- Ability to obtain WRT certification
- Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
- Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Xactimate or estimating software
