Job Summary
Manage, oversee, and coordinate small to medium projects of moderate complexity from award through completion. Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and implementation plans, then establish milestones and analyze costs to ensure execution within budgeted schedules and positive cash flow. Coordinate procurement of materials and services, maintain accurate records of job status and material flow, and oversee subcontractor selection. Communicate project requirements to the team and wider organization while facilitating collaborative environments for customers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years project management
- Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems)
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Project Management Institute (PMI)
- industry-specific certifications and/or licenses
- NICET certification
- Knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, IBC, IFC
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years relevant engineering, field service or project management
- Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
