Job Summary
Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout by applying expertise in building systems, materials, and construction methods to guide daily decision-making and solve problems proactively. Support procurement efforts by assisting with bidding, contracting, and subcontractor coordination to align scope, schedule, and budget. Plan and execute projects by developing schedules, leading meetings, and coordinating with field teams and subcontractors to maintain forward momentum. Manage project financials by tracking costs, supporting forecasting, and handling change management to ensure strong financial performance. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partners to build relationships and maintain a positive project environment. This role requires 5+ years of construction project management experience with projects valued at $20M or more.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction project management experience in commercial construction
- Experience supporting commercial construction projects valued at $20M or more from preconstruction through closeout
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to manage project challenges effectively
- Solid understanding of building systems, construction methods, and sequencing
- Experience with project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and trade partners
