Job Summary
Project Manager – Field Service at Delta Star leads and enhances testing, training, and quality programs across the U.S. Field Service organization. Focus areas include coordinating field service test/quality initiatives, developing training materials, conducting audits, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating across Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Finance to improve procedures, data capture, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include reviewing field reports, refining work scopes, supporting equipment calibration programs, creating and delivering training materials, developing SOPs/workflows/tools, and driving continuous improvement with cross-functional teams. Required competencies include reading schematics and standards (ANSI, IEEE, IEC), ISO 9001:2015 knowledge, auditing, reporting, data analysis, stakeholder influence, and strong communication. Travel ~10–20%, with remote consideration based on experience; preferred location in Delta Star Field Service office (Forest, VA) or satellite locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of program management and/or continuous improvement experience in a field service environment
