Job Summary
Manage the cradle-to-grave lifecycle of a federal contract, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for facilities maintenance services. Direct day-to-day contract operations, including program reviews, customer engagement, and business development, while leading modifications and negotiations. Maintain full ownership of the Profit and Loss, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, revenue tracking, and cost control to maximize productivity. Partner with union leadership on labor relations and supervise management staff to achieve contract objectives. Ensure compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and safety requirements. Requires five years of experience managing Base Operations Support contracts, a Bachelor's degree, and a valid driver's license. Located in Mayport, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing Base Operations Support (BOS) or similar government service contracts, including specialized experience in facilities maintenance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) operations, federal regulations, and government contracting principles
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance
- Ability to maintain access to government installations as required by the contract
- Valid state driver's license with a safe driving record in accordance with company policy, and the ability to operate company or government vehicles as required
- Pre-Employment Screening: All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record review, and 5-panel drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), such as IBM Maximo, is preferred
