Project Manager (Facilities Maintenance/Base Operations)

Job Summary
Lead cradle-to-grave management of the maintenance services contract, providing strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement, federal statutes, and customer requirements. Establish program goals, lead status reviews, and manage contract modifications while assuming full ownership of the P&L through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Direct all aspects of execution in partnership with union leadership to negotiate the Collective Bargaining Agreement and oversee financial activities ensuring efficient resource use. Provide leadership and performance management for contract personnel while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Maintain access to government installations as required by the contract.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing Base Operations Support (BOS) or similar government service contracts, including specialized experience in facilities maintenance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) operations, federal acquisition regulations, and government contracting principles
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance
- Ability to maintain access to government installations as required by the contract
- Pre-Employment Screening: All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record review, and 5-panel drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), such as IBM Maximo, preferred
