Job Summary
Project Manager / Estimator for a commercial roofing contractor in Elk Grove Village. Responsibilities include managing commercial roofing projects from bid through completion, preparing accurate estimates, takeoffs and proposals, reviewing drawings/specifications, overseeing schedules and budgets, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, managing RFIs, submittals, change orders and documentation, maintaining client/consultant/internal communications, and supporting business development and client relationships. Requires 3+ years in commercial roofing (PM and/or estimating), knowledge of roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, Modified Bitumen, Metal), ability to read plans/specs, strong organization and time management, experience with estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, EDGE), and a valid driver’s license. Compensation includes base salary of $90k-$100k plus commission, company vehicle or allowance, profit sharing, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing (PM and/or estimating)
- Knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, Modified Bitumen, Metal)
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, EDGE, etc.) preferred
- Valid driver’s license
