Project Manager/Estimator

Job Summary
Prepare detailed drywall and framing estimates and proposals for commercial projects, then manage awarded projects from buyout through closeout while ensuring schedule, quality, and profitability. Oversee cost control, budgets, and project documentation, and coordinate closely with superintendents, field teams, and clients to resolve challenges. Develop and maintain relationships with GCs, vendors, and architects, leading project meetings and communicating effectively with all stakeholders. This role blends estimating, project management, and client relationship building for a well-established commercial drywall and framing contractor in the Minneapolis area.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial drywall project management and/or estimating
- Strong understanding of drywall, metal framing, and acoustical systems
- Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, or comparable estimating software
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Local market experience preferred
