Job Summary
Estimator/Project Manager responsibilities include evaluating project specifications, drawings, and documentation to determine scope, timeline, and requirements; preparing detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors to develop accurate project estimates; creating and submitting competitive bids aligned with company goals and client expectations; coordinating with leadership, project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure complete and accurate estimates; monitoring market pricing, labor trends, and material costs to maintain current cost data; maintaining organized records of all estimates, proposals, and bid-related materials; assisting in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to align scope and pricing; building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with estimating software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to work on-site Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
