Job Summary
Project Manager / Estimator for a commercial painting contractor responsible for managing private and public painting projects from award through completion, conducting on-site scope walks to measure and document conditions, preparing estimates and proposals, coordinating schedules and resources, visiting sites to monitor progress, maintaining project records, and serving as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle. The role emphasizes field presence, client engagement, and collaboration with ownership, estimating support, and production teams to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management and/or estimating
- Background in commercial painting, coatings, or related trades is a plus
- Comfortable walking job sites and learning how to evaluate painting scopes and production requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using estimating, documentation, and project management software
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout Eastern and Central WA
