Job Summary
Bid and secure construction projects by developing client relationships, reviewing plans, calculating quantities, and constructing bid submittals. Manage awarded contracts from start to finish, including scheduling, cost containment, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with EEO/DBE requirements. Coordinate pre-construction meetings, approve change orders, and manage billing to maintain profitability. Track labor, equipment, and materials while ensuring projects are completed safely, on budget, and within the allowed timeframe. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of experience, and proficiency in construction bidding software. Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $133,500 with comprehensive benefits. Occasional travel to jobsites is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- minimum of 5 years experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with Construction Bidding and Project Management software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate information to all levels of management, employees, external vendors, and other business associates
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, clients, and/or regulatory agencies
- Ability to define problems, collect and document data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of situations and events and respond accordingly
- Ability to seek counsel, when needed and use a variety of resources
- Ability to develop and nurture lasting client relationships
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Valid Driver's License
- ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Occasional travel and overnight stays to jobsites outside of office location area (10%)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MS Teams
- Working knowledge of Viewpoint Vista and HCSS construction software
