Project Manager / Estimator – Advanced Facilities & Controlled Environments

Job Summary
Lead projects from preconstruction estimating through construction execution and closeout, managing budgets, schedules, and procurement for advanced facilities including cleanrooms, semiconductor plants, and data centers. Prepare detailed cost estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop pricing strategies while coordinating with clients, design teams, and subcontractors. Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards. Travel to project sites nationwide as needed to inspect conditions and support field operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, or specialty construction environments
- Experience in project management, estimating, or a combined Project Manager/Estimator capacity
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls
- Proficiency reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and project teams
- Knowledge of construction estimating software, project management systems, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel to project locations as required
- Ability to walk active construction jobsites for extended periods
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and navigate construction environments
- Ability to inspect construction work and project conditions in the field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship management abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with field operations, engineering teams, clients, and executive leadership
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capability
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cleanrooms, controlled environments, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data center, life sciences, manufacturing, or mission critical projects
- Understanding of highly technical construction environments and specialized building systems
- OSHA 30 certification
- Demonstrated commitment to construction safety and risk management
- Professional certifications or construction management credentials
