Job Summary
Plan and execute EPIC Crown Jewel projects from scoping through end, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously with global cross-functional teams. Lead the fabrication team, overseeing people management, skill development, and activity execution to ensure world-class performance. Maintain project progress, critical paths, and stakeholder updates while securing engineering documentation and delivering high-quality outputs within defined scope, budget, and timing. Participate in brand asset presentations for tech days and customer sales pitches. Perform continuous improvements to project execution methods and manage scope changes to minimize impact on time, resources, and costs.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record within the use of project management methodologies
- Experience from working in the fuzzy innovative front-end of new opportunity definitions to execution of customer R&D projects
- Technical background
- Documented hands-on experience from international R&D projects
- Ability to understand and convey technical and commercial sales pitch messages to customers and stakeholders
- Financial stolidity
- Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Quality oriented with a holistic approach that always puts the product quality and the Harman business case and customer in focus
- Being trained within people management
- Ability to build high-performance team
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to work in an office

- Ability to handle changes in scope and minimize resulting impact on the project (time, resources, costs, etc)

- Based on a defined scope, know how to secure deliverables
- Ability to understand and break down project scope and set specific goals and targets for the team
- Work with a team consisting of members from different cultures and functions
- Secure integrated product development to create holistic winning product concepts
