Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of utility projects across gas transmission, electric undergrounding, and capital construction programs, optimizing schedules, controlling scope, and managing budgets to ensure successful delivery. Provide project leadership by driving contractor stakeholders, partnering with government agencies, and acting as the liaison between regulatory bodies and community groups. Develop and maintain project schedules, cost plans, and resource strategies while identifying and addressing performance issues in a timely manner. Implement post-cost management measures to track financials and ensure project health. Travel regularly to project sites and client offices throughout the California territory. This hybrid role supports ENTRUST Solutions Group's engineering consulting services to gas and electric utilities.
Required Qualifications
- Min 1 year of experience functioning in a project administration, project operations, project controls and/or project management capacity within a fast-paced environment where you owned the process life cycle(s) from beginning to end
- Experience managing or supporting utility, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or capital projects in regulated industries
- Ability to lead projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams
- General project management experience
- Ability to manage cost, budget, schedule, and coordinate site walks as necessary
- Travel to project sites & meetings throughout the project territory
- Hybrid remote & onsite role that will regularly require support at project sites in California as well as visits to the client office
