Job Summary

Project Manager (Enterprise Technology, M&A) responsible for planning, delivery and execution of IT projects across the delivery life cycle using TMX standards. Leads scope definition, resource planning, detailed scheduling, budget and change management, progress monitoring, and stakeholder reporting. Manages cross-functional teams, vendors, and regulatory relationships, delivering projects in a hybrid in-office (Toronto, 2-3 days/week) setup. Requires a university degree in a related discipline or equivalent PM experience in financial services, 5+ years of IT project management experience including cloud/SaaS, and strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience with SDLC/Agile methodologies and PMP certification is highly regarded. The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and collaboration with external clients and regulators, with a salary range of CAD 100-120 per hour and a hybrid workstyle.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing Information Technology projects including Cloud and SAAS implementations
  • Experience with end to end project delivery (includes managing both the business and IT phases of a project) of projects in excess of $2M
  • Experience managing enterprise technology workstream (e.g. google migration) as part of an M&A
  • University/undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent PM work experience within the financial services industry
  • Ability to successfully navigate and deliver within a fully matrixed environment that is complex and somewhat ambiguous
  • Demonstrated leadership, with the ability to motivate and effectively manage teams
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Background delivering projects using SDLC, Iterative and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent relationship building abilities and understanding that partnership is key to successful delivery
  • Prior experience working with regulators and external clients
  • PMP certification Nice to Have: Migration to Google Suite
  • Prior experience using Workday as a PPM
  • Experience with projects involving various solutions including in-house development, third party applications, on premise and cloud platforms
