Job Summary
Lead upfront work and collaborate with all departments to get new concepts and projects approved, planned, staffed, and set up for success. Drive development, planning, and closure of all project efforts, including internal and external dependencies, while assessing risks in budgets, schedules, costs, and quality. Negotiate decisions to maintain adherence to targets and maintain relationships with outside partners, design firms, and vendors. Ensure team compliance with the new product development process and compile lessons learned to suggest process improvements. Review project activities at completion and report progress to governance bodies via status reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in new product implementation
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading teams in a direct report or dotted/matrix environment
- Proven expertise working with both in-house and OEM/ODM/JDM projects
- Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Desired Qualifications
- Engineering preferred
- PMI PMP certification or PDMA NPDP certification preferred
- Product development experience in and understanding of wireless systems and technologies preferred
- Experience designing, leading, piloting, or implementing alternative project management techniques such as Critical Chain or Lean / Agile development
