Job Summary
Project Manager - Engineering responsible for leading and coordinating engineering projects in metals/mining/manufacturing. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; prepare project charters; break down work using WBS; define critical paths and baseline schedules; conduct feasibility studies and resource analyses; implement Earned Value Management (EVM) for cost and schedule performance; ensure regulatory and safety compliance. Manage stakeholders, facilitate regular meetings, and maintain proactive risk and issue escalation. Oversee resource, material, and inventory planning and control; drive manufacturing/process optimization; lead and mentor project teams; identify and manage vendors, procurement, and cost competitiveness. Travel to project sites as required. Education: engineering graduate; PMP preferred. Experience: 10-15 years in PM for metals/mining/manufacturing/heavy engineering. Hands-on with MS Project and ERP; strong communication and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical engineering
- PMP certification preferred
- 10-15 years of experience in project management and execution in metals/mining/manufacturing/heavy engineering
- Proficiency in MS Project and ERP systems
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
