Job Summary
Lead all aspects of NPI projects from strategic decisions, stakeholder management, scheduling, team meetings, budget, and supplier/customer management to ensure filing and launch targets are met. Set and lead site NPI program strategy including stage and gate meetings and timelines to meet program objectives. Matrix manage a team of site operations personnel to plan, implement, and execute NPI projects. Create comprehensive project plans, budgets, and strategies for assigned projects, translating plans into measurable actions while executing against local plant procedures. Establish and host periodic progress updates to plant management and represent project status to MES and external leadership. Anticipate roadblocks and proactively drive development of contingency and risk-mitigation plans. This role supports the long-range plan to ensure the plant remains competitive while meeting cost, compliance, and customer service needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or technical field
- 5-10 years of experience in areas such as supply chain, customer service, manufacturing, engineering, and project management
- Broad business perspective, knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Strong project experience and an ability to influence others
- Strong Strategy development and planning skills
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply activities
- Strong issue identification and problem analysis, with the ability to create and execute solutions based on the gathered data
- Proficiency with common program management communication software tools and techniques
- Knowledge of business financial systems and tools
- Collaborative approach in working with different teams and stakeholders in a globally oriented work environment
- Proven leadership ability
- Excellent communication skills including listening, verbal presentation and written
