Job Summary
Project Manager or Engineer in Water Resources leading design and implementation of stormwater, flood control, and water quality projects. Responsibilities include preparing design calculations and plans, overseeing project lifecycles from preliminary design through construction, mentoring junior staff (graduates, technicians, interns), preparing technical reports and specifications, and engaging with clients and contractors. Hybrid work environment with in-office presence Tue-Thu and WFH on Mon & Fri; located in MSP-Bloomington, Minnesota. Requires a Bachelor's in civil engineering with emphasis on stormwater/infrastructure, MN Professional Engineer license, and at least 5 years of water resources experience; proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D/MicroStation, ArcMap, SWMM, HydroCAD, and HEC-RAS; strong MS Office skills; valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil (or similar) engineering with emphasis on storm water, hydraulic design, and/or infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer in the State of MN
- Experience working on MNDOT projects
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with water resources projects
- Working knowledge with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation Open Roads Designer
- Working knowledge of ArcMap, SWMM, HydroCAD, and/or HEC-RAS
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements
