Job Summary
Capital engineering-focused Project Manager responsible for planning, executing, and commissioning capital projects at the Hamilton Pigment Facility. Develop and implement project plans to run the plant at optimal capacity, manage projects from proposal to commissioning with specifications, cost justifications, milestones, and risk controls, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Lead design, planning, construction, and commissioning of approved plant upgrades; coordinate internal and contract labor; approve design changes (DCA) and monitor construction for site safety. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of project management experience in an industrial/chemical setting; strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management abilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management (preferably involving capital projects)
- Thorough knowledge of plant operations and processes within an industrial/chemical facility
- Exceptional human relations skills
