Job Summary
Project Manager/Engineer in Building Science—Structural Rehabilitation based in Brampton, ON. Responsible for condition surveys and assessments of structural components and waterproofing of existing concrete elements, preparation of specifications/drawings, review of submittals and RFIs, attendance at client/architect/contractor meetings, design reviews for waterproofing and concrete elements, report writing, construction contract administration, and project management to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget. Provides mentoring to junior staff, supports health and safety on sites, and drives business development and client relationships. Requires a university degree in a related field and a P.Eng designation in Ontario, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Civil Engineering, Structural, Architecture, or Building Science
- P.Eng designation in ON is required
- 5+ years of technical experience in building science and/or structural rehabilitation
- Ability to manage projects, mentor staff, and develop business opportunities
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visits
