Job Summary
Manage multiple rebar projects from initiation through completion, coordinating detailing, production, billing, and field teams to ensure timely delivery. Review contract documents, shop drawings, and structural drawings for quality, accuracy, and constructability while interpreting design intent. Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, maintaining project documentation, schedules, and budgets to track material usage and costs. Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive communication and support quality assurance and safety initiatives. Primarily office-based with occasional site visits; standard business hours with extended hours based on deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred with three years of rebar detailing or project management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in rebar detailing, structural design, or construction project management
- Strong understanding of construction methods, blueprint reading, and contract interpretation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and operate a computer and standard office equipment
- Manual dexterity required for typing and handling documents
- Occasional walking, bending, or lifting of materials up to 15 lbs
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for reviewing drawings, plans, and communicating effectively
- Cognitive ability to analyze complex data, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted
