Job Summary
Project Manager for Energy & Natural Resources focusing on delivering safety, licensing, and assurance work packages for nuclear-related programmes. Manages delivery of SLA work packages (scope, schedule, cost, risk), develops governance and delivery plans, coordinates with SMEs on safety case and licensing outputs, supports regulatory submissions and compliance, provides progress reporting, and oversees stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities include staff management of junior project personnel, knowledge management, and process improvements, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and risk management in a complex environment. Requires degree in a relevant discipline and active pursuit of professional qualification (MCIOB/APM or similar); BPSS security clearance is obtainable. Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; in-person work arrangement. The role is aligned with Turner & Townsend’s energy and nuclear sector projects, with SOX control considerations where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline
- Working towards MCIOB / APM or similar
- Proven experience managing HT&M projects, ideally in a consultancy environment
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time
- Will be able to obtain BPSS level security clearance
