Job Summary
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos while coaching teams on Scrum and Kanban best practices. Remove impediments to enable team self-organization and manage backlog refinement, prioritization, and defect resolution. Track team velocity and delivery progress to drive performance metrics and continuous improvement. Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of Agile principles. This 12-month onsite contract in Richmond, VA requires a Certified Scrum Master to foster collaboration and accountability across 2–3 teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
- Experience working with development platforms and technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Scrum Master or Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and frameworks
- Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
