Job Summary
Project Manager role within EMCO Corporation’s sales team: manage customer inquiries, prepare accurate quotes, coordinate purchase orders, and ensure clear communication between customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include interpreting complex engineering packages to determine requirements, creating quotations from customer specifications and tender documents, negotiating pricing and delivery terms with vendors and customers, tracking changes via Change Orders, coordinating with PM and drafting teams on drawings, and providing complete handover packages to Production. Support the Profit Centre Manager and Credit Department with information changes that may affect credit risk. Requires Grade 12 diploma and at least 1 year of related experience; strong MS Office skills, excellent customer service and sales experience, and strong planning/organizational abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience – preferably in the construction industry
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
- Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to work under tight timelines and multiple deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
- Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Ability to learn and operate the applicable software
- Intermediate math skills
