Job Summary
Drive project flow from inception to completion by overseeing organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Manage field teams and resolve subcontractor relations while ensuring compliance with safety codes and building regulations. Prepare budget estimates, cost tracking reports, and schedules of values; select subcontractors and equipment suppliers with input from engineering and purchasing. Coordinate all document control activities including permits, submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Host meetings to review job progress and manpower, then escalate critical issues to Division Management with resolution recommendations. Comply with company operating policies and safety programs while maintaining full financial responsibility for projects.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience in electrical construction or similar industry
- Working knowledge of the construction industry and contract documentation
- Working knowledge of Federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism and commitment to company values
- Must have excellent organizational, communication, strategic, technical, analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Must have high standards of quality with attention to detail
- Must possess ability to manage and supervise personnel
- Must build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees, management, suppliers, and customers
- Must be able to navigate around job site locations
- Must be able to commute to field locations
- Must be available for in-person work (does not qualify for hybrid or remote)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Accubid, AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical, technical, or construction programs
- Familiarity with project management/document control software
- Familiarity with construction/financial software packages
