Job Summary
Drive project flow from inception to completion by overseeing organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Manage field resources to ensure work proceeds within budget and ahead of schedule while coordinating with Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Supervisors. Maintain full financial responsibility for projects, including monthly billings, collections, and cost tracking. Select subcontractors and equipment suppliers, verify correct drawings, and create schedules of values and project timelines. Resolve field problems, inspect projects for code compliance, and attend internal and external meetings to review progress and solutions. Commute regularly to field locations in Columbus and Plain City, OH, for on-site oversight and toolbox talks. This in-person role requires full-time, exempt status with no remote eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience in electrical construction or similar industry
- Working knowledge of the construction industry and contract documentation
- Working knowledge of Federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Ability to manage and supervise personnel
- Integrity, honesty, professionalism and commitment to company values
- Excellent organizational, communication, strategic, technical, analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
- High standards of quality with attention to detail
- Must be able to commute to field locations
- Must have the ability to navigate around job site locations
- Must be available for in-person work (does not qualify for hybrid or remote)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Accubid, AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical, technical, or construction programs
- Familiarity with project management/document control software
- Familiarity with construction/financial software packages
