Job Summary
Lead delivery of substation electrical projects from construction through to handover by coordinating design teams, on-site contractors, and material procurement. Manage project programmes, RFI schedules, design drawings, cost budgets, and tender documentation while reviewing technical plans. Stakeholder management is central to the role, involving direct engagement with renewable developers, Local Authorities, ESB Networks, landowners, and the legal profession. Implement and lead Health & Safety processes, ensuring ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 procedures are applied across all activities. Travel to the Munster region will be required.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience
- preferably on ESB projects
- an essential electrical background
- excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills
- strong project management IT skills
- proficiency across MS Project, Teams, Excel, Word and email
- proven experience managing client relationships from pre-works stage through to project completion
- strong conflict resolution, negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Travel to the Munster region will be required
