Job Summary
Manage all phases of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout in the Austin market, overseeing budgets, schedules, and financial performance for projects valued between $5M and $10M. Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery while maintaining strong relationships with local stakeholders. Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to keep projects completed safely, on time, and within budget. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external parties. This locally focused role emphasizes consistency over travel, offering a stable pipeline of projects for a long-term career in the Texas electrical construction industry.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in electrical construction project management
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects
- Commercial electrical construction
- Project sizes in the $5M–$10M range
- Strong financial and operational project management skills
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
- Desire to build a long-term career in the Austin market
- Stable work history (not seeking candidates focused on short-term mega project assignments)
