Job Summary
Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of K-12 educational facilities. Architect the project roadmap from concept through construction and occupancy; act as the primary client contact with educators, school administrators, and community stakeholders; orchestrate cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, and consultants; manage schedules, budgets, and high-level proposals/contracts; ensure designs meet building codes, educational standards, and sustainability benchmarks (LEED/CHPS); mentor junior staff and foster architectural innovation within a flexible, results-oriented remote structure that requires local site visits in Central Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- 8+ years of professional experience in architecture
- Licensed Architect (AIA)
- Ability to reside locally in Charlottesville/Central Virginia area for regular work site visits
- Advanced command of Revit and modern project management software
