Job Summary
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical and instrumentation systems. Lead and manage project teams while coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and vendors. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. Resolve project-related issues and close out projects upon completion. This role requires overnight travel more than 60% of the time and involves a combination of corporate office and heavy industrial site locations, including exposure to harsh elements and safety-sensitive hazards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management
- 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial electrical work
- Must be able to pass a post-offer / pre-placement drug screen and job-related employment physicals
- Must also submit to a post-offer / pre-employment background check that verifies criminal history
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must always be alert and able to safely perform the essential duties of the job without risking harm to oneself or others
- Must Be able to occasionally lift, move or carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for a long period of time
- Must be able to walk distances through the shop and fields
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members
- Must be able to understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and writing
- Must be able to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- Must be able to see details up close and at a distance
- Must be able to judge distances
- Must be able to detect differences in colors, shades, and brightness
- This position requires overnight travel more than 60% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification preferred
- Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus
