Project Manager - Dynamic Traffic

Job Summary
Lead traffic studies and engineering design assignments, including infrastructure, signal timing, and construction sequencing. Develop, maintain, and execute project objectives, timelines, and budgets while supervising engineers, sub-consultants, and technical production. Prepare technical reports, conduct client communications, and provide testimony at public hearings. Oversee operational analysis using CORSIM, HCS, SYNCHRO, and VISSIM, and serve as the technical liaison for project efforts. Assist with major project pursuits, new business development, and local client relationships. Participate in the Institute of Transportation Engineers chapter and provide technical support to other divisions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 7 + years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- Valid Driver's License
- ability to maintain and operate a personal and/or company vehicle
- Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals
- Traffic Signal design and timing experience
- Signing and Striping Plans
- Maintenance and Protection of Traffic
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
- Familiar with AutoCAD
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Independent and critical thinking abilities
- Superior organizational and delegation ability
- Ability to work and lead in a team oriented environment with a focus on staff development and mentoring
- Client management experience
- Experience in managing complex programs and projects
- Proven leadership ability
