Job Summary
Direct engineers and designers on planning and design projects, acting as the design task leader for roadway and drainage infrastructure. Oversee hydrological and hydraulic calculations, modeling with tools like RAS-2D and FLO-2D, and prepare technical reports, exhibits, and design drawings for design-bid-build and design projects. Develop cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and specifications while coordinating changes with project team leaders. Assist in client marketing, project meetings, and business development to identify new opportunities. Requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona or Nevada, a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and over 10 years of project management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, AZ and/or NV
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in project management
- Relevant ADOT project experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong engineering judgment and a solid background in water resources projects
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Oracle-based ERP Project Financial Reporting System
Desired Qualifications
- Certified floodplain manager (CFM)
