Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of commercial construction projects, including project controls, engineering, cost management, and overall project business management. This role requires managing project team members, mentoring junior engineers, ensuring project scope knowledge, and maintaining financial accountability. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, or commercial sectors. A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related field is required. Proficiency in project management software and strong communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial construction experience
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management and accounting cost management software
- Experience in cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting
