Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end development for renovation and upgrade projects across food & beverage outlets, hotels, and attractions, managing initiation, planning, design, permitting, and execution. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and the National Park Service to ensure projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets. Perform due diligence on proposals, manage Request for Proposals, and lead teams through scope definition, resource allocation, and financial reporting. Conduct site inspections, mitigate risks, negotiate contracts, and serve as the primary contact for internal and external communications while ensuring compliance with provincial and national regulations. Based in Columbia Falls with frequent travel to Whitefish, Apgar Village, St. Mary, Lake McDonald, West Glacier, and East Glacier.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management (design & construction) in the built environment, residential, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects in the design and construction from inception to completion
- Familiarity with the end-to-end development projects process
- Experience with Budget & Schedule management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Smart Sheet, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification is an asset
- Experience working with projects in National Parks is an asset
