Job Summary
Lead water resources projects and manage drainage and stormwater infrastructure improvements, overseeing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (including steady, unsteady and 2D), drainage/_SWM design, and regulatory compliance; develop design drawings and reports, oversee budgets and schedules, train junior staff on software and client/agency standards, engage in proposals and client meetings, and coordinate subconsultants on large- and small-scale water resources assignments for NY/NJ clients (e.g., NYSDOT, NYCDEP, NYSDEC, NYCDDC, PANYNJ, MTA, NJDOT, NJTA, NJDEP, USACE, FEMA); requirements include a civil/environmental engineering bachelor’s degree, 15+ years of water resources project management experience, and PE licensure in NY (NJ/PA preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 15+ years of experience managing water resources tasks/projects required with an SWM and H&H focus
- Professional Engineer licensed in New York (New Jersey and Pennsylvania are also preferred)
- Proficiency in HydroCAD, Pondpack, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D and SRH 2D preferred
